So you want to be a camp counselor?! Great idea! Being a camp counselor is a completely unique way to spend a summer. By working at Discovery, our staff spend the summer outside and sharing your best self with our camp community. You’ll experience the joy of teaching a camper a new skill, helping him be a good friend, or making her laugh.
Discovery Day Camp offers competitive compensation packages. All training courses required for your position (i.e.: lifeguard, CPR certification, etc) can be obtained at camp during Staff Training at no cost.
All of us have special teachers, coaches, mentors in our past who have taught us valuable skills or lessons which we carry with us. Wouldn’t you like to make that impact while working outdoors and having a blast all summer? We promise you will make great friends and plenty of amazing memories.
