Our facility makes an ideal site for a social event. Amenities include a
heated swimming pool, playground, sand volleyball court, basketball court,
tennis court, softball diamond and picnic pavilion. We have been hosting events
on our grounds since 1989. Our Caterers can provide food and refreshments for
your guests. Parties at Discovery, Inc. can arrange exciting options
such as clowns, caricaturers, moon walks, disc jockeys and rides for children.
All events include 4 hours of supervised climbing on our 35 foot tall climbing tower.

Past events have included Wedding Receptions, Company Picnics, Family Reunions,
and Organization Fund Raisers . Below we have listed the types of picnics that
have been held on our grounds.
Picnics
Weekend Picnics:
Offered June through September. Organizations usually invite their employees
and immediate families. Suggested hours are 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with lunch served
noon to 2:30 PM. Swimming is usually from noon to 4:00 PM.
Weekday Picnics:
Offered when the grounds are not being used for day camp( mid June through
mid August ) Rates for the use of the camp grounds are reduced. Similar hours and events
to our weekend picnics, but some organizations have opted for 1:00 PM to
7:00 PM with an early dinner.
Weeknight Picnics:
Offered June through September. Organizations usually invite just employees.
Some firms have used weeknight picnics when they are hosting employees
residing out of our area. Great way for employees to get to know one another
in a relaxed atmosphere. Our most economical picnic.
