Bus Driver

Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity to supplement your income. All drivers have other job responsibilities such as being a group leader or working on the pool staff. The driving responsibility is before and after the camp day, usually about 2.5 hour more than the camp day itself. Drivers drive a small school bus. Discovery will train perspective drivers and help them to get a Commercial Driver’s License. Bus drivers will transport campers daily from the door of their home to camp and back again. Bus drivers have the assistance of another staff member who acts as a bus assistant.

Requirements
Bus driver candidates must be 21 or older, have held a driver’s license for at least 3 years, and have a good driving record. The bus driver candidate must be available to train and become licensed prior to the start of orientation.
